I’m turning 19 in a few months and this is my current situation

In the sides it’s thinning (basically no hair) and the front it’s bald

My question is at 19 do I take 0.5 dutasteride or 1 mg finasteride ? I know this a dumb question and an obvious one to choose from but I heard Dutasteride blocks a lot of DHT ?
Do I need DHT at 19 ?

Finasteride 1mg is equivalent to around 0.1mg Dutasteride daily.

0.5mg is way more effective. If you wanted to play it safe you could start with 0.5mg 3 times per week, which is still more effective than Fin and apparently doesn’t have the same long half life as typical Dut, so if side effects were to occur they would subside faster.

But if you are already balding and it’s visible I wouldn’t be conservative. Fuck dht
