I was personally harrassed like fuck by my sisters and female cousins as a younger kid, but still got over it all and have been succesful. it takes the right combination to be a truecel though, and you dont wanna see what their lives are like.

Really depends on the person. Gotta remember that while their thinking if fairly homogenous, the space does attract a diverse group. I could see there being young guys who aren't sure what they want and are just wishing to have what society tells them to want, but also older men who have a sadistic fetish and never figuring out that maybe they should look for someone who would consent to them exploring that.

There's likely guys who were promised submissive women by their culture and who are wishing to lash out at women for not being that way in reality and guys who never thought of harming anyone until they joined the community.

Basically, their stories and reasons are likely varied. In the end though it all leads to the same "women should probably avoid anyone who is active in incel communities" conclusion.
