Something I noticed about hair and jaw shape

People with a squarer jaw tend to look better with more hair on the sides imo, cause it just takes away attention from a jawline that's sometimes too big

While people with narrower jaws tend to look better with tighter sides

Is this universal or is it just my personal bias?

its not as simple as that. short sides will bring attention to the jaw, so if its weak, narrow, or unideal its probably best to not make it the focal point. long sides will distract from it. while short sides can also make it appear wider/stronger, i think this affect is limited and ur better off keeping longer sides.

ur hair should try to hide whatever your failos are. mine is a narrow jaw and longer face so i balance it with long sides and am growing some facial hair.
