Something on my new bike is broken

I got this one cos my old one was broken

And now every few pedals it’s skipping a pedal, so I push my foot down and it just clunks down and doesn’t propel the bike

I think we got some insurance when we bought the bike, so hopefully they can fix it. Imma have to cycle to work with it still. Annoying af
