It’s not really that extreme. It sets you back 1-2 years salary in euro countries and literally just months if you’re from USA.

I don’t really expect to fix my life with surgery at my age as there is too much compounded damage - my sub5 face has left my career, my social development, my life experience and my mental health in tatters.

But for the younger guys there is a good chance it can get your life on the right track before it’s too late and you end up like me.

But my financial upsides are I live with my family, I dont have a social life and I am low maintanence so going to put my every penny into crypto.

I don’t really expect to fix my life with surgery at my age as there is too much compounded damage - my sub5 face has left my career, my social development, my life experience and my mental health in tatters.

20 is about the earliest you’d want to have an osteotomy, if the bones are not done growing then it increases risk of relapse because they are too malleable still.

I can’t get surgery until I finish my decompensation. That 25k could be 5k by next spring. Or it could be 50k. That would be nice but can’t really count on it.

My surgery fund is just HYSA. Although with the way surgery prices are rocketing this is also not ideal.

I should have just paid for my surgery 2 years in advance but that seemed retarded at the time.
