Even if you were friends for many years, when you realize you’re going into different directions in life (different life goals), it’s time to say goodbye and let go of the friendship. It’s better for both sides, you’re doing yourself a favor and also them.

Or when they get mad at you, embarrass you in front of your family and you lose the desire to speak to them because of what they did to you, even though you're not mad at them. That's what happened to me. It's pretty funny when I see them outside, I pretend they don't exist and they seem to do the same.
