Sort of changing my opinion on long hair...

I used to think long hair was awesome:

...but ever since my hair has grown out longer (looking very similar to Richard Ramirez's hair here)...:

...random sketchy people on the street have started asking me for drugs...

I guess it's time to begrudgingly get a haircut...

That's why I wanted to grow my hair out...to cover up my thinning and recession. It's either that or I have the typical older balding man short combover hairstyle or give up on life and buzz or shave my head.

Agreed, but I used to have longer hair when I was younger and people didn't really give me any flack about it...so I must've looked okay with it.

It is easy to get disheartened though when growing out hair.

I really liked my hair when it was about this length though:

I think it's a nice happy medium when it comes to hair length for men...but I still wanted to try growing it out longer.

I also randomly get compliments for my eyelashes from women sometimes.

JFLL. I doubt it's the hair. My friend has a buzz and that happens to him too. I think it's prob how healthy the hair is. A guy with luxurious long hair wouldn't be thought of as a drug dealer

Hmm...that's possible. It's just that it's never happened to me before when I've had shorter hair.

Shorter hair can look luxurious 24/7 . When I had short hair it looked elite without proper care. Now it isn't that long but I look homeless

Update: I've started getting compliments for my longer hair now...

Either people I know have started getting used to it...or it's grown to a length now where it's starting to look good.

I'm not sure how to feel now...

Anyways, it's nice to have the option to either keep it long or cut it short and look decent either way.
