Why don't you just torrent the movies you wanna watch? Or find any online links? I can get you some if you'd like. But if they're really recent then you'll have to wait some more because they don't get released this quickly in a good quality.

Japanese horror movies are way better than western horror movies. The latter focuses on jump scares which aren't scary but straight up annoying. The former, on the other hand, relies on atmosphere. They just know how to creep you out and live rent free in your head even after the credits have rolled by. I recall watching Ju-on for the first time and I would see dark shadows in the corners of my eyes. Weird stuff. And this would happen during the day.
