Muh deadlifts make you manlet. Muh squats squish your spine.
I squatted and deadlifted twice per week (1 conventional and 1 Romanian), and my torso keeps on getting longer. Possible illusion but feels like it.
I hate that my torso is long and my legs are short. Bro, I wish permanent spinal compression from squats and DLs were real. But it’s not real; it’s a cope.
