stability of topical minoxodil during low temperatures?

I know the bottle says not to store it above a certain temp but I couldn’t find anything about refrigerating it, I only do this to slow down oxidation/yellowing of the liquid because that’s what happened to my old batch and i ended up having to throw a lot of it out

What happens if it oxidizes? I didn't realize it was a thing, I looked at the expiry date and it said sometime in 2026, so I just assumed it was something that doesn't really go off etc.

if it oxidises then the effectiveness of the minox goes to shit
