Standards here are higher than female standards

When it comes to looks, people here are more hypergamous than girls IRL.

Modern girls are exposed to more guys period, due to social media/online dating, so by sheer numbers they are more exposed to chads.

However guys here are almost PURELY exposed to models/chads/gigachads. Your standards are ridiculous by IRL standards, you guys simply live in another world.

The amount of times my friends that are girls have shown me someone they think is really hot, I’ve thought “they’d get roasted or get called average here”.

This is why I say you should looksmax to above average looking by this forum’s standards, IRL girls would view you as good looking. After that you can focus on other aspects of life.

Imo having insane standards is just insecurity projected outwards. I used to be like this, I would only focus on peoples flaws beforehand. I could also not handle chubby women in the past because I was always very skinny.

Now that I am more secure with myself my standards have plummeted.

I would argue that this is actually a good thing since it makes you more picky about yourself and can guide you towards improving what you lack and enhancing your good features.

Of course, as with everything, obsessing is never good. But having solid standards never hurts.

Solid standards are good but I’m saying standards on this forum are already way past that. Obsessing to try look like chad is not a good thing.
