Star Trek is far right in 2026

This used to be seen as a left wing future society ideal but not it’s basically a right wing ideal atp. It’s all about having a cohesive high trust society protected from outsiders, your position in society is based entirely on competence. If there are any outsiders they are expected to conform to the culture. Everyone has rights and personal freedom. Many ehtnostates are allowed to form and operate as they want, like random colonies that only allow a certain race/culture.

The only liberal part is everyone gets their basic needs met becouse with the technology of the future it’s basically free to do so.
