I like the Yuuzhan Vong what I don't like is trudging through the umpteenth Sith Empire with a twist and realising I just don't care at a certain point when all you get are the same rehashed story beats with a few new names and powers thrown into the mix. I used to fuck with this shit heavily but once you look at it without the lens of being obsessed with new content, most of this shit becomes completely unreadable especially those SWTOR books and the legacy era.

After watching through the video I do agree that Andor/Rogue One feel more like they are just set in the universe rather than having the same kind of space opera vibe that defines Star Wars but I still personally found them fascinating and entertaining the same way I found the clone wars era entertaining in that it's exploring more avenues of the universe despite the fact that they are both full of rather self contained stories and low stakes knowing what eventually happens. To me, dark forces and all of the early star wars games just don't hold the same nostalgia value for me because I never played them and at this point they seem almost dated.
