Thorfinn was naive from the start, Canute understood there were people in his way from achieving his goal which is to create an utopia since God abandoned us.
We don't have to kill those in our way nor we have to hurt them in order to make our Dreamland where everyone can escape suffering but we need to let those people know our kindness is not a sign of weakness but rather it's a sign of great strength
We need a middle ground between the man who's willing to kill to achieve his goal
And the man who's so caught up on his ideal he'll never hurt anyone again
