Whatever belief system you might follow, one thing is for sure.

Life is all about resistance to evil
Not falling prey to cruel animalistic desires, that nature has instilled in us

This is a common theme present in all the world’s religions.
A world designed to be evil, it’s hard to do good in

Next time you feel like masturbating, resist your actions.
Next time you feel that anger brew up, resist your emotions.
Next time a random girl walks by, resist your thoughts.

Resist, resist, resist
Introduce constraints, so you can define your freedom as the antithesis of the lack thereof

Only then will you finally feel free.

resistance is easy. taking action is the difficult part. to fast you simply have to not eat, but to eat you have to cook.

Why do you think he coping
A very good question dear reader. Allow me to explain:

It is because when a person fails in an endeavour and as a result loses the prize, sometimes he may begin to derail the value of it all together as a coping mechanism.

Chad gets his oneitis? Lust is sin.
Gotten beaten up by a thug? Wrath is a sin.
Can't get rich? Greed is a sin.
Get constantly put down and can't build a strong ego? Pride is sin.
You want to not do anything but you have to work? Sloth is sin.
Too poor of a fuck to afford food? Gluttony is sin.
There are others who have what you don't have and you're not ok with that? Envy is sin.

Ofc this is an overgeneralization. Letting these consume you and control you is also stupid. And it is true they disturb collective living. But there is nuance to this. It is mastery that ought to be maintained over these impulses.

Now look at OP again in light of this. Which group do you think he's in?

You think I wrote this because I am incapable of achievement?
Then I react emotionally?
By chasing what you believe to be an extreme?

Whilst a person who is unable, might in his emotional stance arrive at the same conclusion.. you don't criticise his journey, but whether his destination is right or not

The actions you know to be wrong - those of higher immoral severity, are the ones to resist

Don't make assumptions about me + reduce the worth of this thread using oversimplified generalisations
