it’s the highest ROI looksmax ever, every Chad has a thick neck, it’s the easiest looksmax as well there’s no reason to not train it. Muh it’s dangerous, yeah, why is that ? Nobody can point out why it’s dangerous. as long as you don’t take every set to failure you’re good

This might be water for a lot but it’s a fact most of yall don’t train it. I would say to train it if it looks small relatively to your frame and head, I won’t throw out a bold measurement of what the circumference of your neck should be but if it’s less than 36cm it’s probably noticeably thin and feminine which looms ridiculous

Do you train neck ?
Ofc but not often since I already had a good base for a neck

Also opinions on not training upper traps. Having smaller upper traps always makes your upper body wider imo.

Dumbest shit ever. Only looks good if you have the rest of the frame to go with it. Even then just increases your risk of sleep apnea a ton which is a huge killer in men.

Bunch of u here likely have a recessed jaw and underveloped face already so adding a thick neck is just asking for extreme sleep apnea/

The chances of getting sleep apnea is relatively low, since you won’t build THAT much mass regardless (considering you’re natural, I don’t advise to train neck when on roids, it will sufficiently get bigger regardless)

The risks are only big if your neck is more than 18in as a male, if it’s naturally 18in or more, don’t train it

But that is a risk that is worth looking at before starting training your neck. I would only train it if your neck is so thin that it’s looksminimizing you badly (like for me)

I should’ve included that you need a good frame for it or else you will look like a clown with a worse frame than before
 
Actually wanna do this but how am i supposed to train my neck at the gym without looking like a bafoon

Have good form and it won't really be as embarrassing.

I know multiple people in my Gym that train with 5kg plate's instead of using a Cable Machine (which is objectively less embarrassing)

I have a few dumbbells at home but I’ve never seen any exercises I can use a dumbbell with, always cable that’s why I’m too embarrassed to do it there’s only 4 cables + 1 dual cable at my gym so yk

Yeah but dont over do it though. I see some guys with this overly trained necks and it looks horribly worse than an skinny neck.

Don’t do it at the gym, it’s a humiliation ritual lol, get some plates and a neck harness and you’re good
Yeah but dont over do it though. I see some guys with this overly trained necks and it looks horribly worse than an skinny neck.

I know people use a Gym-Band to stick the plate's on their head to train their neck (Plate on your right side of your head if you want to train Neck Flexion, ect), so you could use the dumbell's with the right placement, I guess?
Additionally, you can use a Cable Gym normally, just place the Cable down, and using the Band (with a hook, obvi, and a Bench), you can use the cable to train however you want.

Apologies if I sound Retarded, I am really sleepy right now man.

Sometimes plates are not worth it if he won’t get heavy ones and a neck harness, it will be unstable and he will have to do a lot of reps


ATP just do isometrics and/or manual resistance until you get heavy plates and a neck harness

I’ll try to look into it more kinda broke atm so yeah :FeelsPepoSpin: I’ve been training traps more that’s helped

I progressive overload but very slow, for example, im using 6kgs for 2 or 3 weeks, then i up the weight to 7 kgs

I was doing first 3 times per week of neck training, neck extensions 5x12,and left 4x12 and right 5x12, BUT, right now i changed my routine, im actually doing

Neck curls 5x12 and neck extensions 5x12, twice a week
