I am aware that it’s most likely cope but it’s cheap and OTC so I thought it couldn’t hurt to try. Will make updates if I actually see any benefits even if that most likely won’t be the case.

isn't it anticholinergic

It is a little since it’s an anti histamine I think but in mice studies they saw longitudinal bone growth so I guess we’ll see

Doing 50 mg a day rn to avoid too much drowsiness. But split into 2 doses. I take 25 mg at night and in the morning. And for the price it’s literally like 5 or 10 dollars max in my country for a month supply

If you grow at all from it theres a high chance it would be uneven growth.

Even tho I do not believe I’ll get great results. That is just an odd to say. The medication is absorbed systematically so why would the growth be uneven ? And at most it would be the case if i got rapid height growth which could cause some issues but not uneven growth.

What does being absorbed systemically have anything to do with anything? What the drug inhibits is something that promotes normal bone growth from what I've researched. You are very stupid for not researching this lol.

From what I've reseached: Meclizine can cause disproportionate growth if you grow at all. Also irregular bone ends, joint pain, etc.. FGFR3 is actually very important for normal growth.

Meclizine does not do that. In the studies if I looked good enough there was no reported case of any bone abnormalities. Maybe that could happen if it somehow made me grow at an alarming rate but that’s not happening and even if it did honestly I don’t mind taking risks. And what I meant by it being absorbed systematically is that fgfr3 is inhibited everywhere so why would there be any asymmetry, not to mention that the body has a lot of mechanisms to prevent those things. Also joint pain is litteraly also the main side effect of GH it’s like a normal thing that happens when you grow. I can guarantee I researched it more than you cause this looks straight out of chat gpt

Bro the studies used meclizine on patients with high fgfr3 levels.

Since it regulates normal growth you can have different joints growing differently. If it causes asymmetries its not like every joint will have the exact same asymmetries if you know what I mean.

I see what you mean but it’s a huge oversimplification. Fgfr3 is not the only regulator of growth, it would be extremely unlikely to get uneven growth from this. Not to mention that meclizine was already used a lot before and no one ever got an issue with that not to mention that meclizine isn’t even a true fgfr3 inhibitor it reduces ERK/MAPK signaling downstream of FGFR3

That might make meclizine less risky for developing assymetries but if you start with normal fgfr3 levels, then reducing these pathways might make you grow less. In terms of bone growth the studies only looked at patients with high fgfr3 levels so even if it is safe as an allergy medication who knows how it affects bone growth.

Chat gpt will always try to convince you to not use any medication to grow taller. It’s not dangerous to slightly block fgfr3, people naturally have different activities of fgfr3 but no one gets deformed because of it. like people that are naturally taller might just have less fgfr3 than the average and that doesn’t make them asymmetrical.

an fgfr3 inhibitor wont make you asymmetrical if you have all growth plates open

I did not use chat gpt just my basic understanding of biology lol. Since the ERK/MAPK pathway promotes cell division as well maybe having normal levels of fgfr3 is better than having lower or higher levels.
