Hello,
I’m planning to start my first cycle after training consistently in the gym for about two years. I’d say my genetics are decent, but I’m lacking overall mass. Right now I’m 186 cm tall and weigh around 74 kg (165 lbs).
I’ve read a lot of threads where people recommend 500 mg of testosterone per week as a solid first cycle. My intention is not to stay on TRT or use gear long-term — this is meant to be a one-time cycle. I know many people say that at the beginning, but that’s honestly my current plan.
My main goal is to gain noticeable muscle mass while staying relatively lean. Since I’m very acne-prone (face and back), I’m considering running 20 mg of isotretinoin (Accutane) alongside the cycle.
I plan to get full bloodwork done before starting and also during the cycle. What I still need help with is understanding proper estrogen management (AI usage), PCT, and whether 500 mg of testosterone per week is really appropriate for a first cycle or if a lower dose would make more sense.
