Minoxidil is worse for your face actually.
OP you need to get longer hair if you are still in the early stages and run cover up game. Jump on 0.5mg fin and use nizoral shampoo if your hair is still good in order to keep it as long as possible. I wouldn't touch Minoxidil.

If you are balding agressively, then you either shave it off if you have a good skull shape or get a hair system that brings you back to NW1. If your temples are receding a lot then you could get a hair transplant there.

Hair system is the way to go. Seriously, it's life changing on all the people who've done it. Only cons are it can be hard to maintain, but you learn how to do that after a while.
