0.025 is better if u use it for the first time to not irritate skin

1. Clean face
2. apply moisturizer
3. apply tretinoin (really small amount)
4. apply moisturizer

In the morning spf 50

Never had issues with 0.05 but it's cope. Either go on accutane or at the very least use a variant of tretinoin with antibacterial properties like acnatac.

Ideally apply every day, start off at every 2-3 days. Don't use the sandwhich method.

1. Cleanse (use a light water based cleanser, don't use oil cleansers or anything else, keep it simple)
2. Wait 20-30 minutes (your skin has to be bone dry before applying retinoids)
3. Apply enough tretinoin to cover your entire face in a thin layer, do not use more than at most 2-3 pea sized drops of it.
4. Wait 15 minutes or so then apply your night cream or moisturizer.

Use the gel version if you can, cream is worse (only downside is your skin will have a higher chance of being irritated).

Also to add on to my last message, if you start getting peeling then don't stop using it. Avoid the area that is peeling or "raw" (red, irritated, inflamed), and focus on moisturizing that area until the peeling or raw texture goes away (just go around it, apply tret everywhere else). If you're already using topical retinoids then consistency is really important, because only then will you get the most out of it alongside the best results.

i did accutane already, i have very minimal acne still so i figured tret is the way to go

If you already did accutane then why are you asking? You shouldn't have any acne left if you completed your treatment
