I know this is well known but still a lot of people need to hear this.
In almost every country status is more desirable than money and looks. Sure looks can open doors but they dont keep them open, thats a fact. Looks can get you Into the modeling industry which will make you rich, people will see you and your face but they wont know your name and probably wont even remember where they saw you. Acting is completely another thing, looks sure can help with it but its a nice touch, acting ability matters more when casting, you can look nothing like the character today and still get the role(but things like race-swapping appears in kids movies mostly)
Backlash if you cast a bad looking person for a role of a good looking character is unavoidable tho(the ongoing hate on bella ramsey is an obv example even the she acted very well in tlof).
-In SOME 1st world countries(like the US, Sweden, France, Japan, Korea and etc) looks matter a lot everywhere, but money matters even more obviously. Job market, media influence, becoming something like a kpop idol or something all get influenced by beauty a lot.
In 1st world its Money>looks>=status. When were talking about the dating market rich ugly people wont be loved, the only option left is to hardmaxx which i dont see a problem with but a lot of people look down on. Andrew tate is a great example hes a hideous Recessesioncel but hes popular and rich which gets him women(passed around and not for long mostly)
-In most 1st world countries and 2nd world countries its Money>=status>>>looks, but i want to note that looks are becoming more important between younger generations and in like 20 years looks will become on level with status, but the demand of a rich partner will grow immensly. Great example is Laurynas maybach (a lithuanian influencer)who dates women WAY above his looksmatch. Ate shit and vomit on a instagram live and still gets women cus hes rich and really popular
-In any third world country its Money>>>>Status>>>looks, looks is essentialy useless and cant open you doors almost at all. People get hired for who they are and get promotions for work(women getting promoted after sucking someone off is really rare) the reason imo is because everyone wants to become rich and make it out and dont want to give away places for incompetent but good looking people.
What proves that money and status is WAY more important?
1.Dating app data: "The male desirability rating shoots up with income. A man making $250,000 gets more messages than a man who’s a 9 or 10 in looks but makes much less. Women don’t just prefer money—they prefer it strongly.”
Source: "The Tinder Experiment" by OKCupid co-founder Christian Rudder, from his own book "Dataclysm" (2014)
2. Culture: “In all 37 cultures studied, women valued financial prospects in a mate more than men did. This preference was consistent and statistically significant across all cultures, suggesting an evolved psychological mechanism.”
Source: David M. Buss, “Sex Differences in Human Mate Preferences: Evolutionary Hypotheses Tested in 37 Cultures” (1989, Behavioral and Brain Sciences)"
3. Comparing: “The returns to beauty (what you earn because of your attractiveness) are significant but small compared to the returns to education, experience, and job performance. This suggests that in professional and social settings, factors like education and experience far outweigh physical attractiveness."

So lets conpare salaries in a country where looks matter a lot.
-Here we can see that the average model makes about 84k a yearly, youll hardly get picked off a street to be a model unless youre like a huge standout
The average salary for an orthopedic is 443k/year and pediatricians make 226k/year
Engineers make 124k/year
Conclusion: Looks dont have that much influence in dating compared to income and status, if you want it to have influence you should move to somewhere like the US.
This is a shorter thread because im just tired of people
