Status is Abstract
First of all, status is an abstract concept like money, energy and other things. Status sure is important as we can notice the influence in the society it have.
If you got status, you will get respect, you will get more help and opportunities, develop more connections with people who got resources.
If you got none, you will treated like trash.
Women are also attracted to Men with high status. But those status are communicated or displayed differently.
and NO! you can't just change your body language, spread your legs wide like a girl asking for dick. There are tons of videos on how to increase your status or become alpha male or alpha male body language. You can only fool people for some seconds.
Your Genetics or more specifically your bloodline will determine (mostly) your status. If you are tall, handsome, wide shoulders, High IQ brain. You will perceived as high status.
