Dad's friends will get you in the door places. Then be good at networking yourself and be a problem solver for rich people. Be reliable for them, then you will rise with them.

Or just go above an beyond to try break into a rich network. Be a good worker. Gain trust, and don't break it. Money will flow in. But it's hard to do without connections.

Being authentic and thinking very long-term beats anything else.

my grandma is a really big player, like tons of money big, but she did tons of damage to my family and she is a really bad person, do i swallow my pride and just get in contact with her because its guaranteed i will get some big connections through her? feels like i would drop a part of my humanity like selling my soul to the devil if i got in contact with her.
