There is a reason why silicon valley is dominated by soy progressive retards. It's not because technology-oriented people are necessarily more inherently soy/leftist, but rather it's because social rejects are much more likely to seek out this sort of job. On one hand, it pays well, but on the other hand the dry nature of the work means social skills and looks aren't really that important. People do no care if the programmer is a fat neckbeard if he does his job properly. It's the perfect job for incels.

And it shows. STEM is an incel dumping ground.

Smart people are not more likely to be ugly. Ugly people are just more likely to look for work that has high pay but requires minimum social ability.
