Was just drinking beer with my housemates, that all mostly come from middle-class households.(mogs me) Are all below average looking and all cope with studymaxxing and do some autistic STEM study at my university, just like me. More than half of them are virgins.

At some point the conversation went towards our position in society in the netherlands and our studies. They all came to the conclusion that in the netherlands 'classism doesn't exist'. Because you can grow up in a poor family, study hard and get a good degree, and now you are, according to them, part of the 'elite' of the country.

Legit could barely contain my laughter at their delusions. Talking to legit 24yo poorcel student virgins with no social life, that spent all their life getting some shitty ass STEM degree, and think they are part of the elite once they get it and can start wageslaving.

Mog most humans in income here, yes. But that's it and only barely. The differences between high and low income are very low in the netherlands. If you really value upper middle-class materialism, which in the netherlands you can afford a porsche or something like that. Nothing too fancy, then yeah sure it's 'worth it' or something.

But not in wealth. Wealth differences are huge in the netherlands. Also not in: life experiences, not in looks, not in status, not in power, not in quality of women, quality of your job, social connections, and much more.

Income doesn't really decide class all that much in my opinion, since income differences are so small. It's more about your way of life and the general ease of it.

I've visited over 10 companies where I could work after my STEM degree and it's 90% male. Only the receptionist tends to be female jfl.
