Steroids, what do they mentally?

What exactly do steroids change mentally when taking a rather moderate dosage, lets say 500mg Test + Dbol or 500mg + Anavar?
Will they make you more energized, more confident, more blunt, more emotionally numb? What changes can you expect?
Lets say you only get the mental benefits of steroids, no muscle gain, would you still do it?

Dbol gives you a well being feeling INSANE
But u will look bloated as a bitch and gyno pretty possible

in general they give you more motivation and well being feeling, but nothing SUPER INCREDIBLE

I assume they will make you more energized + confident. Not angry like some men think, high T levels dont mean you get angry 24/7 over the smallest thing.
