What about during puberty - can’t eating hard foods such as hard gum cause stress on the bones and therefore increasing their desnsity and mass to provide stronger bones to cope with the chewing and a larger surface area for more efficient chewing?

Obviously 20iu is overkill here unless you are rich and you don’t care about longevity

It wont do shit. Chewing is mechanical stimulation which is a method of bone remodeling your bone doesnt have growth plates so it wouldnt change whether you do this during or after puberty its just trying to stimulate some deformation. Its highly unlikely any bone will change from this in terms of thickness stimulation usually results in more density, for the bone to become more thick you need a huge ammount of force applied constantly and if your doing that to your jaw your damaging your teeth horribly and youll just end up losing a shit ton of enamel. I only did it for 2 month and had no permanent gains and already lost a lot of it. Even if we assume it could make ur jaw bone thicker it would take years most likely. By that time you are contracting both tmj and cavities from enamel lost just for it to atrophy later on once you stop chewing


Its just not worth it in the long run maybe ull look better for a little (some people look worse after chewing jfl)

Went to the dentist the other day she told me i lost a large ammount of tooth enamel. I was confused how and she asked if i ever grinded my teeth or anything i told her i chewed gum and she said its likely from that. 4. It probably will give you a chipmunk jaw and a wider head

True but the maseeter is a very atrophy resistant muscle compared to the chest, op either has very small masseters or didn't train them long and good enough, loads of people keep their gains after quitting or reducing the training frequency otherwise botox in the jaw muscles wouldn’t be a thing if they were so easy to atrophy in the first place.
