Disclaimer: Only read if you are able to understand what you are reading.
Most of the things you read online regarding beauty or generally everything is made in the autors world view / ideas.
"Eye area is king" or "jaw is law" is an example for that, most of the time someone with a good eye area and bad jaw will spread ideas like "eye area is king" and tries searching for arguments for this statement like "the first thing someone notices in a face are the eyes" etc. The same obviously for the "jaw is law" people.
This is a flawed way of thinking because people are just trying to justify their looks or anything really by coping this way and thus staying comfortable in their bubble and ignoring the truth.
Another example is how short people with the goal of doing leg lengthening surgery argument that longer legs look better, because after the surgery obviously their legs will be longer in proportion to their torso so that it fits their world view.
I could name a lot more examples, but here's a way of how to detect cope for yourself:
Be mindful of how coping can change your way of thinking, if you are muh "
