This surgeon in Italy is gaining popularity. I know nothing about him and have no connection with him, but I see that he posts a ton of great results. This is a bimax + some sort of bone grafting to ascend the lower third. Looks like the patient here also did some softmaxxing (improving skin, hair, and body composition) to make a full acension.

I’m not saying anyone can pull this off. This guy had a good starting point—zygos, eyes, browridge, hair were all good already. He was lucky in that his main problem (recessed jaw) happens to be the failo which surgery can consistently ascend. Lots of great bimax and genio results out there. Other stuff can only be improved to a limited extent. But this is verifiable proof that drastic transformations are possible. Not guaranteed, but possible.

It depends, hardmaxxing of course never is cope, but the surgery result will vary depending on your skeletal basis.
This dude literally just needed a bimax with downgraft and CCW(? correct me if I'm wrong) since he had SFS, basically the best base to have to ascend from bimax. A skeletal class 3 can only dream of getting a result near this without a lf3.
