Most young men I see today are stuck in a loop of outsourcing your self worth to the digital void you care intensely about how you're perceived-your stats, your aesthetic despite having zero tangible evidence of your own value yet. This is why many young men are attracted to forums like these and the fringe corners of the internet They hand you a pre packaged framework and a community that speaks your language. Even when if it is toxic, harmful and causing self sabotage it's a relief because it gives you a why for your frustration without requiring you to actually build anything.
I dont believe that just be yourself and be confident bro works, you can't think your way into self esteem. That never worked for me. What built my self esteem was actions and more importantly results. You have to act your way into it. Confidence is just the byproduct of competence, and competence only comes from doing difficult things repeatedly
