So basically I am a shampoocell and shampoo every day with a mild one and every 3 days with a little harsher one. Ik its over so that's why yesterday was my last shampoo day. I usually styled my hair with products but I won't anymore, so I do not need shampoo to get the products out of my hair.

My plan is to wash my hair with water only when it gets greasy, and when I really need to, then I wash with a mild shampoo.
Any tips or recommendations on my plan?

Its a long a process, I was on 6 year no shampoo streak but broke it as my dermatitis had gotten too bad.

My suggestion is to use warm water not hot nor cold, wash your hair with water as many times as you feel like, also dont blow dry your hair just pat dry it with a towel.

Depends on your hair type; Shampoo once a week and condition twice is usually the best rule of thumb to follow. If you were to tell me your hairtype I could recommend products/full routine.

Sheamoisture is the product me and my brother use (we both have curly hair, he has more curly hair though) Get the conditioner and shampoo as well as the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Mousse

(Really affordable and they ACTUALLY work) I shampoo once a week with conditioner and then another day with conditioner when your hair starts getting more frizzy, I use the curl Mousse like everyday I put it in my hair after my showers in the morning before school when my hair is kind of damp (I pat it somewhat dry before applying). Let your hair AIR DRY never be rough with a towel.

- MARK THIS AS A SOLUTION.

(You can buy these products at target, walgreens or any place similar to this) If you want product links lmk.

shampoo is good for your hair. the reason why so many people have problem with hair is because they use shit products and dont know how to properly wash their hair. you say you wash every day with shampoo, presuming your scalp got oily and dirty after a day already, which will ruin your hair. the problem lies in the shampoos/hair products you were using, not shampoo itself. investing in a professional grade shampoo is 1. healthier for your scalp and hair 2. cheaper in the long run and 3. clean hair anywhere from 3 days to 1 week (fewer washes means cleaner hair and less product used). i found a great channel on youtube ill leave a link, i used his tips and it transformed my hair massively, from no hope to perfect hair that i get compliments on a lot. he will advise you with products to use for your hair type, although he has some bullshit link in his videos that used to be good for finding a good shampoo for your hairtype but now is just a massive ad for his own products. i suggest watching videos from atleast 2 years ago for actual good products. i have fine hair, and i use redken extreme shampoo and conditioner once every 3 days and add olaplex bonding oil. hope this helps :)

Normal towel but like I barely dry my hair with it, I usually let it air dry (also mark the message where I recommended the product as a solution)

AND REP THIS SHIT NIGGA

You barely dry with a towel like pat it once, and then let it air dry (you can also just lightly shake your hair as well) My brother wraps a towel around his head and lets it dry like that, but i think thats excessive. Excessive patting can fuck up your hair.

(im no longer responding if you DONT FUCKING REP THIS)
