Imagine spending 100 of dollars on expensive ass shit let’s take hair care for the purposes of this thread.

This small ass bottle of shampoo is 60 dollars, but guess what this popular brand Keratase which everyone glazes is owned by or at least similar to L’Oréal which is a brand you can find anywhere and is 10x cheaper (ingredient list is pretty similar.)

Drug stores products for the win, don’t fall for the scam which is expensive hair and skin care.

“B-bb-but based bro it’s all natural”

Natural products are an another scam.

“But my testosterone” :ogre:

If you truly think the reason you have low testosterone is because of a shampoo it’s over. Motherfuckers will worry about sulphates but stay up till 4 am every night.

The reason you have low test likely isn’t due to endocrine disrupters, it really does boil down to genetics and other more important WATER shit.

I like drugstore products too, but not all salon brands are a scam. You’re paying for better formulation, pH balance, and higher concentration of actives, which can matter for damaged or treated hair. The all-natura hype is BS agreed—but premium doesn’t always mean pointless. L

I started using hair products again recently and my hair already mogs, if you use styling products you need a shampoo to wash it out and prevent build up.

I just watched foid Tik tok creators and bought what they suggested lol

The male side of hair care specifically is all a big scam, everyone just promotes whoever pays them the most (based.)

That’s fair, it can have its uses I suppose but I think people usually overstate how much better a said product is compared to its store bought counterpart. For specific cases like you pointed out, I do agree tho (or if money isn’t a big problem.)
