when I was 15, around 2 years ago my knees started to hurt one day after working out (leg day) so I thought it's prolly some injury and and it'll take some time and it'll heal, after around 2 months, my legs felt a little better, i thought yea that's good i js gotta wait some more time and the pain will go away, after an year when my pain didn't go away, visited the doctor, he said it's just growth pain and it'll go away when I grow up, waited and waited then after 6 months took some fraud indian medicine that didn't do shit, waited and waited again, in the meantime started homeworkout again and after doing workouts my pain felt alot better so I thought it's just because of weakness, after another 6 months went to another doctor, he said that I had vit d deficiency, i was a bit... confused? at first because how can only a single deficiency give me so much pain in very targeted areas, he prescribed medicine (60k iu vit d weekly and 1800 mg vit d tablets daily)
dude. after taking the first 60k iu vit d, the next day my legs felt like. 80% better, no knee pain no ankle pain no lower back pain no hip pain, i was like what the fuck
all of that suffering cuz of a fucking vitamin you get from sunshine?

I had pain that was increasing day by day: lower back, knees, side of my hips, thighs, ankles, foot, knees and foot used to hurt while simply walking, basically couldn't run because the pain, felt like i forgot how to run
moral of the story don't forget to take your vitamin d
