Left: Pitcher, straight clavicle
Right: Swimmer, v clavicle
Imo the swimmer looks better, but to compensate for the width losses from scapular elevation, you need to have wider lats.

V cause I have V, but usually v shaped clavs are 11 degrees upturned if we were to straighten them theyd be about 9% wider.

so my bideltoid for example would be 1.09 x 20.6 would be 22.45 inches.

do you think having better shape is worth the loss of width?

Straight clavicles are always preferable, they're a sign of adulthood / development.

However, perceived shoulder width and shoulder-to-hip ratio are overall more important. You can get away with any clavicle shape as long as they're long.
