in my opinion, it will. but it will take months for any change to appear. mewing is more than just sticking the tongue to the roof of your mouth. your nervous system must adapt. most people who attempt mewing are doing it wrong and will give up quickly.

jamo and astrosky had the best ascensions from hardmewing other than salludon. they too seem to have intuitively learned stram from being really autistic about mewing for years.

this is how jamo described his visualization of hardmewing. using neck to resist tongue force sounds like stram

and this is astrosky. "reverse yawn" sounds like stram, as one of the ways to depress the hyoid/adam's apple is by imitating a yawn. i would guess the reverse part is the resistance from pushing the root straight up.

it is not just hardmewing. people seem to believe that it's some marketing tactic since it's an acronym. the backthird of the tongue is connected to the hyoid. if you actively depress the hyoid while resisting with the backthird, you will create a lot of pressure. it will flex the SCMs very hard. this is something you can only hold for a couple minutes at a time, then rest and repeat.
