Yes straps are a great tool in the gym especially when your lifts start getting up there and your grips strength just cannot compete with your back strength.Should I use straps for lat pulldown ? what about grip strength?if you have them why not, your forearm strength will never be as strong as your back no matter how long you’ve been training
Ok thankstrain grip strength separately if it’s a priority for you
saying grip strength is trained in back movements is like saying the triceps are adequately trained in chest movements too; while they are to a point, it’s not enough to provide sufficient mechanical tension and therefore muscle growth
What can I do for better grip ?train grip strength separately if it’s a priority for you

either do dedicated forearm exercises like reverse curls or supinations/pronations, and they’ll also get strengthened over time through hinge or pulling movementsWhat can I do for better grip ?
Yh but it’s better for your gainsi used them and they worked but it felt gay so i stopped
dnr what everyone else is saying. Use straps! if you were truely advanced you would alr be using the broski, your back is most likely alot stronger than your grip and your grip could be a limiting factor.Should I use straps for lat pulldown ? i use them and they're rlly convenient + they actually let me target my back without relying on my grip strength(which is obv gonna be weaker than what my whole back can handle)Should I use straps for lat pulldown ?
