Occasional glimmers of strength, courage, bravery, heroism, whatever you call it

Is simply not enough to define you

You are either strong or you aren’t, I see it more as a binary than spectrum in this context

So the question is what’s the #1 way to become impenetrable to fear and other self imposed limits

Because all it takes is one moment of weakness, cowardice, comfort, to backslide into your old self, to be overcome by your lowest instincts, the death of the higher self

You could torture yourself / go through extremely traumatic life events like volunteer to go to Ukraine

But that is more likely to scar you beyond repair and make you a PTSD ill wreck than it is to temper you into some warrior

You could try to become “disciplined” by doing challenging things

I’ll try this and hope it works, but I don’t know if it’s enough; the whole self improvement thing seems like bullshit. Maybe it seems spiritually inauthentic to impose your own discomfort. Maybe we were never meant to be spoiled with the comforts of modernity.

zero of what you typed down went into my head. not a single thought. just a bunch of neuron activity
Every experience you will ever have is just atoms, that doesnt really say anything or lessen the significance.
