I've been counting cals for over a year now, i weigh my food, track all my macros (only protein so i feel full) it's crazy to imagine i used to eat whatever the fuck i wanted whenever i wanted without counting calories, junk food like pizza is so much more enjoyable on a saturday or friday with your boys after you've been strict dieting the entire week, feels much more rewarding and tastes a million times better then If i would just eat junk food everyday. if you guys have just started dieting and you're having a hard time it gets better trust me. you will adapt to the lifestyle.

strict dieting makes cheating 10x bettter just like np fap no porn makes sex a lot better

restricting pleasure is an important part of life

since i started going to the gym and eating cleaner foods i barely feel hungry, i just eat 2 meals a day and theyre not big
also stopping diet soda helped a ton

Protein is key, try to atleast get 100 grams a day. you don't need much, the whole 1 gram per pound is a myth and its only a thing so protein powder companies can make more money, 0.7 per pound is all u need, i go for 0.8 though. Whenever you want to eat like shit i always remember that junk food only makes you feel good for a few minutes, its not worth it. Self discipline is absolutely everything if you want to be lean and fit.

That feeling when you have a whole box of pizza and gummy candy in your face after dieting for weeks on 1300-1200 calories.. jesus christ, so much fucking better than sex.

Fast food fills you up for a bit then you get all bloated and sad so it’s not worth it
Protein is vital but you’re right there’s a limit to how much

u will never understand my junk food>sex posts until u have experienced a STRICT dieting of like no or very little processed foods/sugar for at least multiple weeks and then u just binge out for a day on junk food.

No high can compare

Kikes got me on meds that makes you crave food so I can't do that
 
At one point I went a year straight with all my calories logged in a spreadsheet, or at least an estimation during the times I was out to eat, and I would still take a night in with Ben and Jerry's, video games, and a pizza and soda over a date with a bitchy 6/10 and $30 worth of drinks and a stilted conversation. Easily one of the best copes of all time.

COVID with the self-checkout lanes has been a godsend. No one can detect my mental illness as I cruise out with enough ice cream to feed Mumbai.

How do you feel after that though? I can imagine the night shivers lol
I haven't eaten processed sugar for about 5 years and I'll never eat it again, like candy or ice cream. Impossible for me to avoid in some foods where there are trace amounts ofc

if you have good gut health and are lifting/fit occasional 'cheat' meal can actually be good for you depending on what you cheat with

ice cream for example is not that bad

pizza is bretty bad tho depending on source and if you use grain based crust
