Strong Dislike for Disingenuous people trying to be "Successful"

I don't know why it's always irked me so much, the person who is basically like a performance to be the model "successful" person but comes off as widely inauthentic and frankly annoying.

This happens a lot in American high school, they'll be that person who will just put on a performance to try and get into good colleges including stuff like:

-Making their identity very focused around their race/gender/sexuality. That is, talking about how it made them struggle even if it didn't. Possibly lying about "microagressions" etc to seem oppressed. Someone like this would write an essay how George Floyd being killed personally destroyed their mental health even if they didn't give a care in the world.
-Starting clubs/"companies" only as a performance. It's the type of person who starts a "club to help women code" or a company on "educating people about racial injustice in America" when you know they really don't care and just did this for brownie points. It's annoying because it works and they know what they're doing but they'll never admit it.
-Will deflect any criticism in a manipulative way. You're saying that because I'm (insert group). Why don't you care about ____? Etc

I went to school with a girl exactly like that and it's just infuriating. The thing is, normal people see right through it and no one liked them.

I don't know why but it just weirdly angers me. You can tell every step of what they're doing is so they can put "Forbes 30 under 30" in their Instagram bio and all they really care about is this superficial "success" clout. A perfect example of this is TikToker Nadya Okamoto. She pretended she was homeless in high school when she actually was just renting out her house and staying somewhere else, founded a company for women's periods (you know she just did this because it looks good, she doesn't authentically want to do this), manipulated competition, constantly plays identity politics with being Asian/a woman etc.

Anyone else been around someone like this because I have and they were extremely unlikable and unless you have social issues it's really easy to tell their level of authenticity.

I agree, though I feel like there is a distinction. Someone like Bill Gates would NOT be this type of guy in high school. He would.be authentically smart and a computer nerd who actually likes doing this so it makes sense he became ACTUALLY successful. I hate when it's just someone who has nothing REAL to give so they find fake ways to compensate (dumb "STARTUP", playing the identity card, etc). The less successful performer also ends up being much more loud about their faux success as well and it just irks me so hard.

Yeah, I guess it's just my personality. I just cannot find myself to like someone who I can easily sense a strong sense of false identity for. True, its just a certain extent I can't get past. I don't really care about other performative stuff but the type of person I described in the post does annoy me truly. I just hate because they're the type of person to lie and manipulate constantly but if you call them out they've already thought of defense mechanisms (you're saying that because I'm a woman, minority, gay, etc). It's a much deeper mindset than not being authentic, such as someone not enjoying being somewhere but saying they're fine or pretending to be alpha around women. It just pushes limits to a different level where everything they do is just calculated and these are the same type of people who will try to be in positions of power as well.
