Trim it instead of shaving it, but if i clean shave it takes about 3 days to have the same length as the trimmed one thought

You can also try shaving one pass, its not "super" perfect but it gets the job done better than trimmer and easier

Length is like 0.5mm or 3 day without shaving, and its better because you avoid any ingrown hair and doesnt give you the "rough" feeling

Its not bad, quite good if you are lazy of you grow hair below your neck, places where its hard to shave without cutting yourself and i don't think normies notice difference between 0.5mm beard and clean shave unless super close to your face

Use cold water instead of hot on your face and blade. Cold temperatures make metal contract. Also cold water stiffens your beard. The stiffer the hairs the easier they will be to cut. The cut will be closer as well. This is why shaving cream is bad. Shaving cream softens the hairs on your face increasing the chance of razor burn.

Just shave with cold water and a soap without any oils in it. Irish Spring works pretty well.

Once you get better with the razor straight soap & cold water will be the best way to go for the smoothest possible shave. The chin and upper lip have always been my most troublesome areas. And the line where I cut my sideburns. But only because I'm hasty and don't care so much about little knicks.

You can pull the skin around your jawline in a way so that you only have shave over a flat surface area.
