human body needs moderate amount of supply daily. just don't overfeed/underfeed your stomach.
don't do "+3 extra small meals" or huge dumb caloric meals at "one time".

Retard, it's collagen production, not total collagen in the body.

After fasting collagen production is boosted.

It's the same with sexual hormones. Fasting drops T by 50%, but when you eat it hovers around 200% for a while.

Fasting of any kind is stressful for the body. In someone with robust metabolism & genes (aka Chad genes), it can be fine, but why subject yourself to additional stressors when modern life is filled with it:
  • EMF
  • Endocrine disruptors all around us
  • emotional stress
All these are form of stress.
In someone with incel genes, it is likely detrimental and can contribute to hair loss and all other degenerative diseases.
Same thing with cold showers. It's a stressor.

One hypothesis is that the benefits from fasting come from reduced endotoxin load, coming from not eating. Fixing your digestion, if it's broken will achieve the same thing without the detrimental effects of fasting.

The study is done on pigs though.
 
Generally speaking IF is good to do once in a while for autophagy benefits but obviously when you are not eating there are not many anabolic reactions going on to rejuvenate your body and that goes for skin too, so test levels, growth factors, MPS drop. as usual try to maintain the balance with everything and read into chronobiology.
 
Someone here said that once per month is okay but going autitistic with too many fasts without needing them is retarded.

I did "involuntary fasting" cuz didnt feel like eating never and my face was looking like fucking trash. I never bought this fasting=collagen. If anything eating healthy = collagen
