Stupid question

In my American gov class I got done early with some citizenship test that ppl take to get into the U.S. anyways doesn’t matter. I whip out my notebook and draw the true Adam face just to fuck around, and I draw a stereotypical Jew on the other side with like the beret thing they wear with the 2 strands of hair and I drew a big Star of David necklace on him as well. My teacher comes up to me and says “what are you drawing” as if he doesn’t know, and then continues to rip the paper out of my notebook and say he will write me up if I do such thing again. How am I in the wrong like what did I even do.
