Style counts for a LOT

One year in high school I was in a low point. Then long story short, I got the young Leo haircut, lost some weight and wore more trendy clothes. I had girls that were previously talking shit suddenly approaching me for other reasons and you get the idea. This was around the end of the school year. All of a sudden social doors seemed open, I find out the girl I liked liked me back, we were dating that following fall. Life seemed exciting and fun. Like seriously? I thought, all it took was a haircut?

I don't understand how some people discount stylistic choices. Your hair and presentation can completely change how people perceive you. It's very much an extension of your looks and it's the easiest thing about your looks to change. You could say I actually did the "get a haircut bro" thing and it worked.

Yes, women can tell when you put some effort into your physical appearance and they like that, especially because most guys don't do it, so it makes you stand out.
