It depends on if you're prettyboy or masc.
If you're prettyboy - skater / slightly alternative look goes hard. Slightly baggy pants, crewnecks, hoodies, longsleeves, sneakers, probably some band tees. You can add some accessories, like necklaces, rings, bracelets, don't overdo it tho, or you'll look like a tranny faggot e-boy.
Brands to look at: Carhartt, Dickies, Stussy, Palace, HUF, various vintage stuff from thrift stores. For footwear you could choose Vans, Converse, Nike Dunks, Nike AF 1, Adidas Stan Smith, Reebok Club C 85 or some boots like Dr. Martens, if you live in a cold weather.
Color paletter for you would be pastel colors, baby blue, dusty pink, beige. Black and white are always good.
If you're masc, especially if you're fit or muscular - you could either go for athletic look (tracksuit / track pants with fitted T-shirt and Nike Air Max 90 / 97 / Vapormax / Adidas Ultraboost) or, if you want to look more muh high class - slim fit jeans / trousers with white leather sneakers (again, Adidas Stan Smith, Nike AF 1, Nike Blazer low, Puma Ralph Sampson lo, etc. Or Gucci Ace / Common Project Achilles if you're making bread or have rich parents). Polos are always in style. Again, it depends on your financial status. If you can afford the more high quality stuff - take a look at Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, maybe even Stone Island or Moncler.
Dark thriad badboymaxxing (leather jacket, ripped jeans, rugged boots, etc.) is also an option, but you have to look really masc, or you'll be perceived as an edgy bullied kid.
And yeah, fragrance is a must.
