True they are most likely not aware of their looks and just don't care compared to some people who might be jealous because they are self aware of their looks

Real friends should not make u feel bad abt looks (to a certain extent)

It makes total sense with the people/"friends" ur talking abt though. Better looking people or people that are better in a metric (could be almost anything) know that they are good and happy with where they are. They are content and have no reason to pull u down, it would not benefit them. The so called "subhumans" will either try and keep u at their level so u dont succeed or drag u down to theirs. They hate seeing people achieving what they cannot ever hope to achieve
