I’m currently a sophomore in highschool with a 3.1 gpa and i do plan to go to college for business but i don’t want to slave away another 4 years in school. My family owns a very successful business, pretty sure my dad is making in the 300-400k range a year. I just want to know if i should worry about school or trying to get more involved in the business at 16.

The business obviously you have that golden opportunity and you want to do what every other cuck is doing?

what does he do

focus on your studies at this age. learn business from college and then get more involved in your dad's business once you know how to actually run shit. or you can just skip college not that it will matter if the profits are that big lmao. either way that business should probably be your focus provided its stable and good enough to let you live lavishly obviously

Yes. Learning under your dad will probably be more useful than college provided he gives you a job

Definitely start getting involved in the business now, especially since you already have access to something successful thats a great advantage most people dont have. Learn how it works, ask questions, and try to take on small responsibilities so you can build real experience early.

At the same time, don’t ignore school. You don’t need to be perfect, but keeping your GPA solid gives you options in case plans change. Think of school as your safety net, not your main path.

Also, don’t just rely on the current business—start thinking bigger. Learn how it runs, then look for ways to improve it, expand it, or even build something of your own in the future. I think the goal shouldnt just be to join the business but more to eventually grow it into something even bigger like scaling it to 7 or 8 figures.

bro r u deadass nga u have a fucking clear set path laid out for you why the fuck would you waste your precious time and raise your cortisol studying like the rest of us fuckers when you can pursue that path jfl wtfff

Hey bro I’m actually in a similar situation. Eerily similar. Why would you go to college to learn business from professors who have never been in business? Theory is very different than application. But you know who has experience in business could teach you everything about it for while paying you? Your dad.

But I would say to get involved as much as you can with the family business. Learn about the basics of the industry it’s in on your own time. Ask your dad for an unpaid helper job (the unpaid part is to make it seem more honorable). Learn everything he knows. Watch YouTube videos. Learn accounting, how cash flows through a business, getting new contacts.

I’m not sure what industry his business is in, but once you graduate, if possible work for him full time. Unless this industry requires a degree or certification, then obtain that first then ask for a full time job. Start at the bottom, and work your way up. You’ll obviously be fast tracked since you’re the boss’ son and you already know a lot about the work.

Be his right hand man. If he owns a construction business, be his superintendent. If he owns a wealth management company, be his relationship manager. Work hard. Boomers love to see their sons adopt their work ethic. Show your dad you’re hungry. Help him grow the business. Find him new leads, solve problems, new ideas. And when the time is right, he’ll gladly hand the reigns over to you.
