Yep, pretty fucking bad. My genetics are horrible. Does it look like it’s an infra issue or zygo, maybe a maxillary one. I think it’s mostly because of my very recessed infras, I’d probably try to fix that first

You can easily change it by getting that FaceMask that gives you forward growth, or a Bimax
And thats all
But you have a decent base

Thank you, my orthodontic treatment is about done and I’m going to see an “airway orthodontic” , I’m getting a consultation. I don’t know how I’d convince a face mask or a bimax. Is my maxilla or Infra recession worse?

If you have sleep apnea you can easily convince him of getting a Bimax, and no, your maxillary reccesion isnt the big deal, you are a normal case of reccesion

I see, I hear people referencing infras and maxilla as different parts IE: lower maxilla, and then upper maxilla which is infras. Like in my situation my upper maxilla is more recessed than my lower, but they’re both bad

I understand. I do snore often at night, and my dad does have sleep apnea. Do you think my upper maxilla recession (infras) are far worse then my lower maxilla recession? With how others describe my recession being thr worst they’ve ever seen, it’s hard to believe that it’s a normal case. I can mark as solution

dont listen to these people saying that you are the worst case they have seen, they dont know about cases like yours, pay attention: You have CLEAR simptoms of sleep apnea and that is a medical condition, you could easily (in theory) get a lefort or bimax, and no, as i said before, your reccesion is NOT the big deal, you arent cooked, you are just a random reccesed person and thats all we have to discuss.

They are equally reccesed so i couldnt tell

Thanks, a bimax wouldn’t make it theoretically worse because it would only move lower maxilla and leave upper maxilla recessed, creating almost a ridge? Definitely gonna push for a headgear though
