Subhanallah

Why does every fucking thread involving Islam turn into a shitshow on this fucking site?

experienced things : Issue of induction and of qualias = non proved and a more metaphysically costy position than believing in the monotheism that has more argument in its favor.

So you'r a believer no different than guys that believe in religion, glad we advance, even more than them.

But what make you think religion are by essence human made? For the case of islam, we can use emprical arguments that can be falsified : The preservation - perfect of the book - nothing come close, the absence of contradiction, of errors, and the presence of miracles that is the whole quran especially in his writting style and the fact that there has been a challenge never fulfilled for so long, let alone some others facts in that regard. All of which are empirically falsifiable while your experiments aren't at all and are less rational than this position.
Since life is only about probabilities, the position that is more probable if you'r rational, you believe in it and give after your heart's assentment if you believe in it and that's about it.

What you do while claiming rationality is irrational.

you'r a scientist too right?
Everything you said is wrong. Islam is full of scientific mistakes and contradictions. Infact 1 mistake is enough to prove that islam is false because the quran is 100% from God according to islam which means one mistake would prove its man made. Which means it's all wrong since god can't make mistakes because God is perfect. I unironically think telepathy is real as I have experienced it irl. But idk how it works and only very few individuals have it from what I can tell. It has nothing to do with religion. My theory is it's centered around some sort of collective consciousness. I'm speaking from my own experience and I don't think anyone will believe me but idc anyway just sharing my experience and thoughts.

i'm not gonna be external anymore if you can't understand my point.
What you said is nonsense and you didn't understood what i exactly wrote while claiming sentience.
Read again, and try to give a proper reply, that's low iq asf and it's not funny.

Islam is full of scientific mistakes and contradictions
You don't have the basis in epystemology, nor even logics.
Theoleologically, they stand on different plane, science is about explaining the world, faith about salvation.
If there is issue, which there isn't for the Qur'an, it doesn't even mean it's false or right, because science itself in his essence - in his premisses it's auto-justificatory and it's methodology, induction and deduction and hypothetico-deduction it relies on faith.

And textual contradictions? Glad go ahead go C/C every anti-muslim autistic website you find just because you have a big ego and left because of the laws, and can't actually do your own research.
I unironically think telepathy is real as I have experienced it irl
Do you know the principle of science and rationality? I don't think you do.
Read Popper. For your claim to be considered as valuable it needs to be falsifiable, ie tested and said to be non false - doesn't mean right but that's all reason can do.
Your issue is that experience is about QUALIA READ IT UP = 1. you can't duplicate it 2. it's subjective to the subjective and not observable in the same ways for everyone even if it was duplicable.

So this means :
probabilistically : Islam>your experiments. While you claim rationality, your position is less rational than islam, meaning you'r irrationnal.
And i can't debate with people that don't use reason and contradict themselves.

Idk what to say, the main issue when you debate with people is when they'r arrogant and don't understand what you write because they lack of obvious basis, and are ignorant of their paradoxes. Not only that, but pushed to their ignorance all they do is insulting you, and i have limits too, it's been lots of threads where i debunked him but stayed respectful, and each time he flied, and now has the audacity to say me that while i was clear in my exposition of argument.

Dude I took popper and kuhn a d all those fags and epistemology not long ago. The thing you fail to realize that science itself is constantly evolving and the method by which we gain knowledge and test our hypothesis is very reliable and it can be used in the real world to gain results. If we are basing our thoughts purely on theoretical concepts then you would have a stronger argument. But from a non biased point of view. Which you clearly can't take since you would have to have doubt in your heart to even consider. Then all things considered religion is man made. The reality is that empiricism mixed with science(not all but the generally accepted and constantly growing) and naturalism is the only reality which can be confirmed. Everything else is a cope. Like what is more likely to be true? That some guy rallied the Arabs to gain power or that God the creator of the universe while being all powerful and all knowing chose to guide humans through a book. Which is a man made construct? Why wouldn't God just telepathically communicate with all of us?

Before you say it's a test then why test people if you already know the outcome of everything? Past present and future since you are omnipotent.

This shows me that God is ether evil and wants to send people to hell because they don't blindly follow him OR that God is false because he was used as a tool for uniting the arab people. What is the most likely scenario?

i dont know why ur always using probabilistic arguments

it doesnt signify anything and the mere fact that its the rationale behind your belief means that you arent a true believer in ur faith, just a calculated risk taker.

there are many errors in the quran and every other religious book, most of which are resultant of the time it was written, which should indicate its falsity (for non fundamentalists). if u intend to use it for the rzn of governing, why should anyone follow an outdated doctrine?

The thing you fail to realize that science itself is constantly evolving and the method by which we gain knowledge and test our hypothesis is very reliable and it can be used in the real world to gain results
material consequence != truth. You should've learned that at least.
so it's not because it's evolving that it's even coming close to the truth in explanation of the materialism, because by essence it will never be able to do so because of the limits of the metholodogy :
Induction because you can't test everything everywhere everytime.
Deduction because there are always axiom that by definition can't be proved.
And by definition no matter the evolution in that regard, these issues will stay and say to you that even in science, in it's sole purpose of explanation of the world, it's a belief, and not an ideal one.

The reality is that empiricism mixed with science(not all but the generally accepted and constantly growing) and naturalism is the only reality which can be confirmed
according to who? it's a total philosophical belief, and no proof to attest it.
Why you speak without proving your point each time ?

That some guy rallied the Arabs to gain power or that God the creator of the universe while being all powerful and all knowing chose to guide humans through a book. Which is a man made construct? Why wouldn't God just telepathically communicate with all of us?
This is a genealogical fallacy, just use arabs that you define by pejorative terms and compare it to your position theory to gain emotions.
Why telephathy ? Are you God to choose?
And where is the test in that ? it's non sensical.
You need to be tested for what you looked for, studied, and reached as conclusion, not to be told without reasoning.
And the issue with telephathy is that God is eternal and thus above space and time = can't come to space and time or else he is not god that's a reason why christianism is not rational.
So telephathy requires a direct connexion between humans and god and it's impossible rationnaly.
While a book that is from the intermediation of a creature of God, that is Jibril is more rational because jibril is a creation and can do transmit it.

Again, you need to use reason.

Before you say it's a test then why test people if you already know the outcome of everything? Past present and future you are omnipotent.

That's the sole thing reason can do. Nothing is in vain - logical claim - so you have to use everything you have to find the truth. Once reason reached the most probable position, you need assentment to it if you accept it, that's about it.
Nothing by definition in this world with the tool that is reason, can be proven to be totally right, you can only have probabilities. Science included.

science is just making a series of objective observations and drawing a conclusion from it, it has nothing to with religion and isnt a 'belief' in the same way either.

the stupid part of the probabilistic argument is that your choice in belief would be completely random. every religion across time has a slim chance of being correct, without any way to rank/quantify it. if someone makes the wrong choice, they are led to damnation right. you look down on polytheists and members of other religions, yet they could claim to follow the same logic as you.

False.
The arguments are more probabilistic toward theism than toward atheism, toward monotheism than toward polyhtheism - very easy again to prove and in monotheism toward islam than toward J or christianity already gave the arguments and everyone accepted them, 10 times i did.

The material reality is not truth? Yes in the sense that some stances inorder to make sense have to be based around that but form what we know 100%
The material reality is the only reality we know to be true. We have no other point of reference. You aren't being fair here you're very biased.

The thing is science as you said is different from religion because religion is not meant to explain the natural order of things etc. This argument fails unfortunately for you because islam clearly talks about science, ethics, morals, astronomy etc etc. Which make it more than just a Religion.

Next point. You say it's irrational for God to directly communicate with humans. According to who?? According to you and islam. But we don't know what that for sure again. No one knows what god can or can't do or wants to if he can do anything this is a pointless point because there is no way of us knowing. Infact this entire discussion can go forever and you will keep using the same talking points. And they are valid don't get me wrong I just don't think it's based in reality as our ideals differ greatly from what we consider to be valid and truthful.

You're whole foundation is based on a belief or a presumption which can be wrong just like anything else in life. If you can't admit that then you're not engaging in a debate in an open minded way, I mean I could be wrong as well. We don't know the truth but we can strive for the truth from the material world (which is the only thing we know to be true btw. Yes ik what you said but not all philosophical concepts in my opinion should be respected because many seem illogical and stupid since we have no way of knowing or proving them.)

Back to telepathy thing I'm not saying it's true because I'm god I'm saying I think it's true because I experienced it. With a family member. Maybe it was one in a million confidence who knows anything is possible.

Honestly this in my opinion is one of the strongest reasons why I don't think religion is legit tbh. Along with many others but this explains the human mind regards to religion

that's not what i said i said the metholodogy and the premisses used to explain the materiality rely on FAITH, that is science.
And we can argue that materiality itself doesn't exist that's called solipsism, in fact it can be a logical position but you don't have the enough reading on that so i will dodge that issue for you - if you want i'll give you another issue and explain it.

Next point. You say it's irrational for God to directly communicate with humans. According to who??
According to my understanding of logic.
Not according to Islam.
Please read it and show me how it's wrong, i'm reading.

Simple.

It's just what i believe is the most probabilistic and i can elaborate more on why. It's pretty simple.
Obviously it's just the most rational but then again that's all we can do with the reason.

We don't know the truth but we can strive for the truth from the material world (which is the only thing we know to be true btw.

this is your own delusion, there is ZERO credibility to make any variant of religion any more likely than another. throughout all of time, people have switched the most predominant religion, you happen to born under the influence of this particular period.
No if they make the wrong choice while knowing it's the truth then they can go yes, not if they don't know.
this goes against the quran lol, nonbelievers are looked down upon and deemed unworthy. also if their misguided choices were excused, why should anyone care to follow any religion? they would end up in the same situation.

The Kalām cosmological argument is a variation of the cosmological argument that argues for the existence of a first cause for the universe, and the existence of a God. Its origins can be traced to medieval Jewish, Christian and Muslim thinkers, but most directly to Islamic theologians of the Kalām tradition.[1] Its historic proponents include Al-Kindi,[2] Saadia Gaon,[3] Al-Ghazali,[4] and St. Bonaventure.[5] William Lane Craig revived interest in the Kalām cosmological argument with his 1979 publication of a book of the same name.[6][7]

The argument postulates that something caused the Universe to begin to exist, and this first cause must be God.

this is your own delusion, there is ZERO credibility to make any variant of religion any more likely than another. throughout all of time, people have switched the most predominant religion, you happen to born under the influence of this particular period.
Ok i can PROVE to you why Theism>Atheism, then Monotheism>polytheism then islam>others monotheism, you want me to go point by point?
I'll if you want and you'll have nothing to say most likely. But all you say to me is genealogical fallacy, and don't give any point.
Are you ready for it tommorrow or after?

No. If you can't accept the basis of what i've wrote, and not refuting it, while it's common knowledge, we can't debate bro.
You can't just come, say "no you'r wrong JFL" to a guy that says evidences in the field.

Yeah I believe that there is a creator. I just don't tie god and religion as one

this goes against the quran lol, nonbelievers are looked down upon and deemed unworthy. also if their misguided choices were excused, why should anyone care to follow any religion? they would end up in the same situation.
If you don't know what islam says why you talk about it?
I gave you what it says. period.
i dont know islam so i cant point out specific excerpts, but i see @Baldingman1998 do it all the time, and he has a pretty thorough understanding of the ideas.
We discussed upon and no issues there.
