Not necessarily, if your tonsils are inflamed or way too enlarged you will snore. Or could be not wide-enough palate / narrow jaw but not recessed jaw.


It's pretty common. Also the other way could happen, a narrow nasal space would cause snoring, because the airflow from the nose is blocked or reduced, so your body instead breathes through the mouth.
