The question is if those two pictures are taken in the same lighting. Because just a small difference in lighting can probably effect the appearance of your eye color.

But then I have to admit that I have seen some promising results tbh.
This woman here on Reddit posted a result after 3.5 weeks of listening and the lighting looks really similar in before and after and her iris looks clearly lighter in the after picture.

So that means that either subliminals actually can work atleast when it comes to removing melanin of the iris. Or it means that even a minuscule difference in lighting can let the eye color appear that much lighter.

Again the lighting looks very similar although not 100% the same.
